Last Saturday we had breakfast with friends as we do every Saturday. We ate at a different place this time largely because we wanted to buy breakfast for our friends and wanted it to be special. One friend had just celebrated his birthday and another friend was planning to move to California to be near her family. We all enjoyed having special food at Benedict's on Beltline. Our friend Martha Clinkscale showed us pictures of the new Condo she was buying in Sacramento,CA. It was so nice and she was so excited about moving to be near her daughter and granddaughter and son. We all took to go boxes and left to go our separate ways, planning to eat together at Benedict's again next Saturday. We found out Sunday afternoon that Martha had a car wreck and was killed just after we finished breakfast. This has been such a shock! I'm having a hard time coping with it. Her children must be having an even worse time.
